SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS

SHIPPING ADDRESS:
1. Truck shipments send to *:       RICE MARINE, INC.

2. UPS,  FEDEX, etc. send to:         RICE MARINE, INC.
    (recommended limit 60 lbs)        2221 MAGNOLIA DRIVE
                                                            DELAND, FL 32724


*warning:  big trucks cannot reach our shop on Magnolia Drive, sending
                 truck shipments to 2221 Magnolia Drive will cause rerouting
                 charges to be applied and delay delivery.

               *Bill of Lading for truck shipments should state that we are to be
                 called at 386-717-5225 thirty (30) minutes before delivery.


GENERAL SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS

1.   Drain fluid or oil
2.   Do not send transmission mounts or bellhousing.  We don't need them and have to charge 
      for time involved taking them off.
3.   Insure against fluid leakage by:
      a. removing hoses and house couplings then installing pipe plugs (3/8" NPT) - recommended
      b. if hose is long enough and couplings are of proper type loop one hose from input to output
      c. leave oil cooler attached to hoses - good if we are supplying new cooler
4.  Packaging:
     a. wood shipping crate - shim to prevent shifting and rolling
     b. plastic shipping box - same but insure that it's strong enough to hold weight (not for units over 100 lbs)
     c. strap to shipping pallet - use only steel straps, do not use rope, tape, etc.
     d. cardboard box - ok if strapped to pallet
5.  Please tag your transmission with your name, address and phone number if shipped open
     on a pallet or place in the shipping carton.
6.  We can arrange ship through our shipping broker - call us
     a. always try to ship Business to Business, it's much cheaper!
